Did you know that lacrosse is the fastest growing sport? It's a very fun and fast paced game that your son or daughter will enjoy very much!
Lacrosse is grade based, not age based, so depending what grade your son/daughter is currently in, would decide what team they would need to be on and which team you would need to register in.
Our boys teams are: K-2nd grade, 3rd-4th grade, 5th-6th grade, 7th-8th grade and 9th -12th is HS.
Our girls teams are: K-2nd grade, 3rd-4th grade, 5th-6th grade, 7th-8th grade and 9th-12th is HS.
During the fall season, practices are usually limited to a couple per week (based on coaches schedules/needs) and the teams usually participate in a few local tournaments. Practices usually begin in mid-September and the season usually ends around Thanksgiving.
Spring season is the "main season" in lacrosse. Games are usually played on the weekend's (there are some weeknight games for the older groups) and practices will start either the first or 2nd week in January. Games usually start mid-February and can run as long as early/mid May. Practices are during the week and days/times are decided upon by the coach of that age group.
If you have any questions at all, please feel free to reach out to myself or the Program Director for your grade. All of our Program Directors and their contact information are listed under the "CLA Board" tab at the top.
The "Resources for Parents" tab is also another great location for information if you are curious about the history for lacrosse, rules for the game and equipment needed for boys/girls lacrosse.
